Department of English Communication
Our courses provide students with English skills and the intellectual foundation to be good communicators in today’s globalized society. Our balanced
curriculum of classes covers English language skills and English communication skills, as well as specialized courses in culture, literature, education,
and translation. To cultivate a good command of English, we have tutorial English classes that consist of a small number of students with one native instructor, and oral presentation, discussion, writing and translation classes. A range of culture and literature courses broaden the students’ awareness of
worldviews. Students are also offered classes to prepare for TOEIC examinations and study abroad programs. Students in the English Communication
department will acquire a cross-cultural perspective and critical thinking ability for their future paths in global business and the international community.

Department of Global Studies
Our department provides students with international communication skills and knowledge of international culture. Students take classes in variety
of subjects related to international relations, which enable them to work in the airline, travel and tourism industries, as well as a wide array of international companies. To enhance the future potential of students, they take part in PBL (project based learning) classes that develop their ability
to analyze, plan and make presentations. These PBL classes are done in conjunction with industry and local government and thus provide valuable practical experience. Furthermore, classes taught by native speakers of other languages allow for students in our department to get a deep
understanding of cross-cultural communication by the time they graduate.
